THIS IS OUR STORY!!

Our story started on June 13th 1999. Samragi had placed an ad on the pen-pals section of the 'Classifieds 2000' website. Dean saw the ad and replied. We wrote thousands of letters back and forth. For some time it seemed like it was just going to remain a dream. We were too far away. We tried so hard to spend time together, spending hours online chatting, posting pictures and letters...and even sending each other gifts! Our friends and family thought we were totally mad!! 

Things soon began to take shape for the better. Samragi got her Bachelor's degree and began to apply for a Masters degree in England. 

In September 10th 2000,  Samragi finally came to England, after gaining two scholarships to study her Masters in English Renaissance and Romantic literature at the University of Liverpool. The first real meeting was at Manchester airport where Dean came to pick Samragi up. It was love at first sight, followed by a proposal and acceptance!

Dean also started his Masters in Internet Computing that month on the other side of England in Scarborough. There were many train journeys back and forth! 

Nine months later we were married on June 13th 2001, exactly two years after we met online. We had planned the wedding even before we met. We had a lovely honeymoon in Dublin. Later in the year, we were both awarded our Masters degrees by our respective Universities. We then stayed at Oldham for a few months with Dean's parents.

In November 2001 we moved down to Yeovil in Somerset. We visited Calcutta for a month in December 2002.  In February 2004 we moved to Derby in the East Midlands.  We finally bought a car and enjoyed travelling around the UK!

Our future plans include buying a house and having a family someday, at the moment Cody is quite a handful!
